Welcome to the Parliament House Artist-in-Residence application form for Stage 1.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Please make sure you have read the Statement of Requirements (Guidelines). For queries about any part of the program or application, please see the FAQs. If your question isn’t answered there, please contact art@aph.gov.au with 'Artist-in-Residence' in the Subject heading and we will reply to you within 5 working days.

If you need more help using this form, see SmartyGrants’ Help Guide for Applicants or their Applicant Frequently Asked Questions.

NAVIGATING THROUGH THE FORM

On every page of the form in the top left corner is a ‘Form Navigation’ drop-down menu that links directly to each page of the application.

You can also click 'next page' or 'previous page' on the top or bottom of each page to move forward or backward through your application.

SAVING YOUR DRAFT APPLICATION

If you need to leave a partially completed application to come back to later, press 'save and close' and then log out. When you log back in and click on the 'My Submissions' link at the top of the screen, you will find a list of any applications you have started or submitted. You can reopen your draft application and start where you left off.

SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION

You will find a Review and Submit button at the bottom of the page. You need to review your application before you can submit it. Please note that once you have submitted your application, you will not be able to change it or any of the submitted documents.

Once you are ready to submit your application, simply click on 'Submit' at the top or bottom of the screen.

You will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your submitted application attached as a PDF.

If you do not receive a confirmation of submission email then you should presume that your submission has NOT been submitted. Please check the email hasn't landed in your spam or junk email folder.

ATTACHMENTS AND SUPPORT DOCUMENTS

Have your documents saved on your computer, or on a storage device, ready to upload.

You need to allow enough time for each file to upload before trying to attach another file.

SPELL CHECK

Most internet browsers have spell checking facilities built in. You can switch this function on or off by adjusting your browser settings.
